A welcoming primary school in the BS3 area is seeking an experienced and fully qualified teacher for their caring and inclusive school from September.
This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils during a key stage of their primary education, helping them build confidence, strengthen core skills.
The successful candidate will provide calm, consistent classroom leadership and create a positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
The role involves delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum, with a particular focus on English and mathematics, supporting assessment preparation, and maintaining high expectations for both achievement and behaviour. Strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and the ability to build positive relationships quickly will be essential.
The school is looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Has recent experience teaching in a classroom setting
- Is confident delivering core subjects and supporting pupils in preparation for statutory assessments
- Can establish clear routines and maintain high standards of learning and behaviour
- Builds strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
- Is committed to helping every child reach their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
