Part-Time Legal Cashier
Our client is looking for an experienced part-time Legal Cashier to join its Business Support team. It is looking for someone who is willing to work 2 days a week. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected Legal 500 and Lexcel-accredited law firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily banking procedures, receipts, payments and completions
- Process BACS, Faster Payments, telegraphic and international transfers
- Maintain accurate client and office account postings
- Process client-to-business transfers and month-end postings
- Bank cheques and cash, process bills and calculate interest where required
- Assist with reconciliations, purchase ledger, expense claims and other finance tasks
- Provide cashiering cover during holidays and absences
- Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SARs) and firm procedures
About You
- Minimum 3 years' legal cashiering experience
- Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Good bookkeeping, numerical and organisational skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Team player with the ability to work to deadlines
- Able to work Part-time
