Our client has grown to become one of the largest family-owned manufacturers of construction products in the UK and Ireland.  The group encompasses leading brands across the steel, light & environmental and timber sectors and they are renowned for pioneering, innovating, and a dedicated attitude of ‘going through the wall’ for their customers.  The group continues to grow at pace from their Derbyshire base, and they are now looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator for their masonry led brand. 

As their Internal Sales Coordinator you will provide essential administrative support for our external sales team along with proactive sales approach in growing sales and increasing our quote conversion rates and ultimately market share. This is a dynamic proactive position that requires exceptional organizational skills, tenacity and a dedication to delivering outstanding customer service.

Internal Sales Coordinator – Responsibilities

– Logging Technical Sales Managers activities, schedule updates and prospects onto (CRM).

– Making outbound calls to customers, chasing leads, schedules, making appointments and obtaining drawings for new projects/prospects.

– Closing orders and negotiating margins with distributers.

– Ensuring the accuracy of accounts and contact data in company (CRM).

– Manage project schedules and diligently follow up on Next Action Dates (NADs) and inputting of Expected Order Dates (EOD’s) on outstanding quotations.

– Proactively contact Buyers, Quantity Surveyors & other stake holders to arrange meetings gather project information and updates.

– Alert internal managers to important changes in project schedules.

– Research and log new potential business prospects, regularly monitoring and updating the project progress.

– Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing queries and phone calls and managing email inboxes.

Internal Sales Coordinator – Required Skills

– Proven administrative experience, ideally in construction or manufacturing sales.

– Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.

– Confident communicator, with strong interpersonal skills.

– Proficiency in data management and record keeping, including use of Microsoft Office Packages.

– Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

– Target driven and ambitious to progress within the company.

– Able to develop positive working relationships with colleagues and external customers.

– Confident in making outbound calls to assist with sales opportunities.

This role offers the opportunity for a skilled sales administrator or coordinator to add immediate value with their skillset. It would be an ideal next setp for someone with a years experience within admin, looking for a varied role wirth progression possibilities. It also offers the chance to work for a business with an enviable reputation within their field who reward and encourage development within their teams.  The role is largely site based with four days based out of their Derbyshire facility, with one day working from home possible.
