KS1 Teaching Assistant – Verwood | Full-Time Opportunity

A friendly and welcoming primary school in Verwood is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school community where children are encouraged to thrive, staff work collaboratively, and every pupil is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

The Role:

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant position
  • 5 days per week
  • Based within Key Stage 1
  • Starting September
  • Supporting pupils in their learning and development throughout the school day
  • Working closely with class teachers and support staff
  • Assisting with classroom activities, interventions, and pupil engagement
  • Helping to create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

  • Is passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing
  • Has experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting (desirable)
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
