An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Personal Tax Consultant to join my client’s team in their Newcastle offices.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing personal tax compliance and advisory services to a varied client portfolio.
• Advising on trusts, estates, and inheritance tax planning matters.
• Supporting clients with succession and estate planning strategies.
• Advising owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Providing guidance on capital gains tax and personal tax planning opportunities.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering practical, commercial solutions.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across service lines to provide integrated advice.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
• Contributing to business development and growth initiatives.
Skills & Experience
• STEP qualified, or significant equivalent experience in private client tax.
• Strong experience in personal tax compliance and advisory work.
• Expertise in trusts, estates, and inheritance tax planning.
• Experience advising owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients.
• Strong technical knowledge of capital gains tax and personal tax planning.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to provide practical tax advice.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
