IT BUSINESS ANALYST / PROJECT MANAGER
Leading Alternative Investment Firm | London | 6 months contract

THE ROLE
Manage the delivery of cloud and SaaS solutions for a leading Alternative Investment firm. You'll combine business analysis, project management, and vendor oversight — defining requirements, managing implementation partners, and owning tactical developments on the Microsoft Power Platform with AI integration.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Gather and validate business requirements; translate into vendor specifications and build requirements
- Manage SaaS/cloud solution selection (RFP, evaluation, vendor selection)
- Lead project delivery — act as PM against external vendors or manage in-house Power Platform/AI solutions directly
- Oversee integrations, migrations, UAT, and go-live
- Manage vendors against SLAs, timelines, and deliverables
- Identify and support Generative AI and Agentic AI use cases across the business
- Use Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot directly to prototype solutions and support analysis
WHO YOU ARE
Essential:
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
- Track record delivering SaaS/cloud business systems
- Experience managing implementation partners and running projects directly
- Vendor and contract management expertise
- Cloud solution knowledge (SaaS, APIs, integrations)
- BA/IIBA or PRINCE2/Agile/PMP certification
- Private Markets or Asset Management experience
Desirable:
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) experience
- Hands-on use of Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot
- Knowledge of Anaplan, DealCloud, Workiva, or Azure data platforms
