Orka Financial is currently partnering with a global business based in West Drayton that is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join the team.
The Management Accountant is responsible for overseeing inventory and cost management processes within SAP, supporting EMEA sites, and collaborating with FP&A teams. This role ensures accurate reporting, analysis, and compliance with audit requirements, while driving improvements in operational efficiency and financial controls.
Duties include,
- Preparing comprehensive stock reporting for all EMEA sites, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to support operational and financial decision-making
- Monitoring inventory valuation and stock adjustments, investigating cost discrepancies and ensuring corrective actions are implemented to maintain integrity of financial statements
- Delivering variance reporting both monthly and quarterly
- Provide insightful analysis and commentary for FP&A
- Leading the closing of the Inventory Ledger for EMEA, ensuring compliance with group timelines
- Calculating and validating stock provisions and intercompany stock
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations for inventory accounts, investigating discrepancies and ensuring all adjustments are supported by documentation.
The role requires a qualified Accountant ideally with experience in manufacturing with strong systems skills.
Salary is up to £55000 + benefits. The business operates hybrid working (3 days office based / 2 days home)
