Are you experienced in supporting young people who require additional behavioural and pastoral support?
Tradewind Recruitment is working with secondary schools across Waltham Forest seeking confident and resilient Behaviour Support Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
The Role
You will work closely with students who may face behavioural, emotional, or social challenges, helping them remain engaged in education and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting students both in and out of lessons

Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted adult

Implementing behaviour support strategies

Assisting with de-escalation and conflict resolution
-
Monitoring attendance, engagement, and wellbeing

Supporting reintegration into mainstream learning
The Ideal Candidate
-
Experience working with secondary-aged students
-
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
-
Ability to remain calm under pressure
-
Passion for supporting vulnerable young people

Experience within education, youth work, mentoring, or pastoral support
