Business Support Coordinator
Orpington, Kent | £30,000 – £35,000 | Permanent

We are working with a well-established and growing professional services organisation to recruit a highly organised and proactive Business Support & Recruitment Coordinator.

This is a pivotal, hands-on role supporting senior leadership while playing a key part in recruitment coordination, business operations, and management reporting. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being at the centre of a fast-paced environment.

The Role
Leadership & Business Support

  • Managing complex diaries, scheduling meetings, and coordinating calendars
  • Preparing meeting packs, reports, and presentations
  • Taking minutes and tracking actions to completion
  • Acting as a key point of contact across teams
  • Supporting leadership with day-to-day administration

Recruitment Coordination

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment administration
  • Posting job adverts and responding to candidate enquiries
  • Screening CVs and conducting initial telephone interviews
  • Coordinating interviews and maintaining candidate trackers
  • Liaising with agencies and third-party suppliers

HR & Office Support

  • Coordinating new starters and onboarding processes
  • Supporting payroll and HR administration
  • Managing shared inboxes and handling incoming enquiries

About you:

  • Has experience in a business support, team assistant, or recruitment coordination role
  • Ideally has a background in recruitment or business support (rather than pure HR)
  • Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Communicates confidently at all levels
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused
  • Can handle confidential information with professionalism
