We seek a highly skilled Game Developer to join the team in Gothenburg.

You will be responsible for building visualization tools and interactive applications – including Unity games, Unreal simulations, and visualization applications – that turn data and user input into compelling visual representation. You will work primarily in Unity/Unreal, complemented by web technologies, Python, and other tools as needed. You will work within the Technology & Innovation department, collaborating with Design and Engineering departments to deliver future-forward in- and out-of-cabin experiences.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

– Programming expertise in C#, C++, JavaScript, and Python, with strong experience in Unity and Unreal for interactive applications

– Deep understanding of visualization technology, data processing, and networking (UDP/WebSockets), plus solid knowledge of system design, architecture, and scalable application development

– Experience with computer vision, graphics, and rendering pipelines, and hands-on Android development with Android Studio is a plus

– Proficient with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Key responsibilities

– Develop game applications in Unity, work together with designers to realize their concepts and ideas.

– Develop Unreal simulation products to visualize design data. Provide early feedback in VR setup before real products are developed.

– Develop visualization applications with web tools using languages like Python, Java etc. It can be tools to simplify designer's workflow or provide visual presentation of application data.

Other – The assignment will take place in the studio in Gothenburg, and there is an 'office first' environment with some flexibility to work from home.

– Travel to China may be needed (approx. 2-3 trips per year).

– Everyone in the team has a high level of responsibility and mandate and is expected to be able to work autonomously. – Fluent in English, spoken and written.
