Eaton Syalon are delighted to be supporting our client to recruit a Credit Control Administrator to join their finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with credit control, credit risk, or customer onboarding experience to join a supportive team environment. You will play a key role in onboarding new customers, assessing credit risk, maintaining accurate customer data, and protecting the business from fraudulent applications.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the business while developing your skills within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboard new customers and manage customer account setup processes
- Assess new account applications and make informed credit decisions
- Identify and mitigate potential credit risks and fraudulent application
- Manage and respond to enquiries within the departmental inbox
- Record and maintain detailed communication records
- Liaise with internal commercial teams to support business objectives
- Resolve customer queries via telephone and email in a professional manner
- Ensure all company policies, procedures, and key controls are adhered to
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Support the wider finance function and undertake additional duties as required
Person Profile:
- Have previous experience within credit control, credit risk or a similar finance administration role
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of credit control principles and risk assessment
- Possess excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Be highly organised with strong communication skills
- Have a proven track record of reliability and delivering high-quality work
- Be confident building relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
