We are recruiting for an experienced and proactive Senior Management Accountant to join our financial services clients growing finance team. This part-time (three days) opportunity offers a blend of hands-on accounting, stakeholder support, and team mentoring, making it ideal for someone looking to add real value within a collaborative environment.
You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting queries, and developing junior team members. You’ll be joining a close-knit, professional team, backed by a national organisation known for innovation, growth, and exceptional client outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Complete accruals, prepayments, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Respond to queries in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with dividend documentation and company secretarial administration
- Provide cover for finance team activities during absences
- Mentor and support junior finance staff, including reviewing work and sharing best practice
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Strong experience in management accounts and month-end processes
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
- Confident communicator, able to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues (or a willingness to develop this)
- Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
