We are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Head, ensuring effective management and operations of the school.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Act as the first line of contact for the Head, managing her diary and administrative systems.
- Prepare reports for the Head and Governors on educational and market trends.
- Take a lead on priorities in the absence of the Head and advise the Senior Management Team on key decisions.
- Research and procure information on educational policies and developments, contributing to inspection readiness.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders in the education sector.
- Manage the safer recruitment process for teaching staff, ensuring compliance with government regulations and inspection policies.
- Host guests and visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Oversee the administration of the Head’s office, ensuring high standards in all communications and reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and other professional software.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of educational systems and policies, with experience in event organisation and high-level administrative support.
- A degree or relevant professional qualifications are highly desirable.
