JMF Associates is partnering with a multi-site retailer that is looking for a Management Accountant with experience in accountancy practice to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, and working in a small finance team, the Management Accountant will:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reporting
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Accurals, prepayments, and posting journals
- Engage with auditors during the annual audit
- Act as a business partner to key non-finance stakeholders
This role will suit a candidate who is:
- Accountancy practice trained, but also has worked in commerce
- Possesses at least 5 years of management accounting experience
- Experienced in working with companies that are stock-based
- Possesses strong management and financial accounting skills.
- Worked with SME businesses
- Has excellent communication skills
