Role: Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer
Salary: £43,000 to £45,000 per annum, plus benefits and progression opportunities
Hours: 4 on 4 off, rotating days & nights
Location: Commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton and surrounding areas

Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer to join a large and well-established manufacturing company at their Birmingham site. You will be joining a friendly and experienced engineering team within a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting production machinery and site equipment through a combination of reactive maintenance, fault finding, breakdown repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), machinery improvements, installations, and project work.
This role would suit engineers who enjoy variety in their day-to-day work, working across a range of manufacturing and automated equipment, whilst continuously developing their technical skills.
Requirements
• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship, hold relevant engineering qualifications, or have significant maintenance engineering experience gained within industry.
• Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing, production, FMCG, distribution, logistics, or industrial environment.
• Experience with any of the following will be considered: conveyors, packaging machinery, bearings, belts, motors, sensors, drives, inverters, relays, contactors, three-phase systems, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, automated equipment, robotics, or material handling systems.
• Mechanical or electrical maintenance background – multi-skilled engineers are particularly encouraged to apply.
• Friendly and adaptable approach to work with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude with a hands-on approach to fault finding and problem solving.
