We are currently recruiting a Temporary UPVC Cleaning Operative to support a cleaning project within our warehouse. The role involves cleaning UPVC panels and associated trims located on the shopfloor.
The panels range from 1–3 metres in length and weigh between 1–10kg, so candidates must be comfortable with light to moderate manual handling.
You will be working alongside 1–2 other cleaning team members, will receive full task training, and will be shown the expected KPIs and the hourly sheet that must be completed and handed in daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning UPVC panels and trims using warm water, Flash cleaning fluid, and minimal UPVC solvent (for stubborn marks).
- Handling panels of varying sizes and weights.
- Maintaining accurate hourly KPI sheets.
- Following health & safety processes at all times.
- Working effectively alongside other cleaning personnel on the shopfloor.
What We Provide
- High-visibility vest

- All cleaning products and materials
What You Need
- Safety footwear (must be provided and worn by the candidate)
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
- Reliability, good attention to detail, and willingness to follow set processes
- Suitable warm clothing – e.g., jumper or fleece.
Work Environment
The warehouse is clean, organised, and well-maintained following a full refurbishment. However, as it is a working shopfloor with regular incoming deliveries, the temperature can fluctuate. A warm layer of clothing is recommended.
