Employment Solicitor, 6+ Years PQE, Birmingham, £75,000+ (DOE) – An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a highly regarded national Employment & HR team. This role offers exposure to a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment work, acting primarily for corporate employers across a variety of sectors. JOB REF:4371.
THE ROLE: • The role offers a strong mix of contentious and advisory work, with the opportunity to develop your profile within a nationally recognised team. • You will manage a varied employment caseload with appropriate supervision • Advising employer clients on strategic and operational employment issues • Conducting Tribunal case management, disclosure exercises and witness statement preparation • Building and maintaining strong client relationships • Supporting business development initiatives, networking events and seminars • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider national team
SKILLS REQUIRED: • Applications are sought from Employment Solicitors with a minimum of 6 Years PQE. • Strong respondent employment law experience • Experience handling Employment Tribunal matters independently • Excellent drafting, advisory and organisational skills • Commercially focused and pragmatic approach to client advice • Strong client relationship management skills • Enthusiasm for business development and networking
