Receptionist / Administrator – Full Time – BS37

We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist / Administrator to join a welcoming school in BS37 on a full-time basis from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, providing excellent administrative support, and being the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors, and staff.
Previous experience working within an education setting is desirable, but we also welcome applications from candidates with strong face-to-face customer service, reception, administration, or office experience who are looking to bring their skills into a school environment.
What You'll Do:
Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff Provide a warm and professional welcome at the school reception Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries Support with administrative tasks including data entry, record keeping, and document management Assist the wider school team with daily office operations Maintain accurate pupil information and support with school systems Help create a positive and organised environment for pupils and staff
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a school or education environment is desirable Strong administration and organisational skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience in a reception, office, or customer-facing role A friendly, professional, and approachable manner Ability to multitask and remain organised in a busy environment
