Commercial Solicitor (Healthcare), 1-4 Years, Leeds, £Competitive + Excellent Benefits (DOE) – We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to join a highly regarded Healthcare Commercial team in Leeds, advising some of the UK's leading NHS organisations, independent healthcare providers and innovative health technology businesses. JOB REF:4387.
THE ROLE: • You will advise clients operating across the healthcare landscape on a diverse range of commercial and regulatory matters, supporting projects that help shape the future of healthcare delivery. • Working within a collaborative national team, you'll enjoy a varied caseload, regular client interaction and opportunities to travel where required. • Draft, negotiate and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements, including service contracts, framework agreements, licensing arrangements and supplier contracts. • Support clients with collaborative ventures, partnership agreements, joint working arrangements and other innovative commercial structures. • Provide advice on data protection, information governance and privacy matters, including data sharing agreements, international transfers and compliance issues. • Develop strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to expand services. • Contribute to business development initiatives, client seminars and networking events.
SKILLS REQUIRED: • Applications are sought from Commercial Solicitors with between 1-4 Years PQE • Experience in commercial contracts, technology, data protection or regulatory law. • Previous exposure to healthcare work would be advantageous, although candidates from other commercial practice areas are encouraged to apply. • Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills. • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously. • A proactive approach to client service with excellent communication skills. • The confidence to take ownership of matters while working collaboratively with colleagues. • An interest in developing long-term client relationships and contributing to business development. • A willingness to learn, embrace new areas of law and support innovative healthcare projects.
