The Role
- Lead the execution of M&A transactions across the infrastructure and energy value chain, taking ownership from origination through to completion
- Oversee and review complex financial models and valuation analyses, ensuring quality and robustness of outputs
- Manage key transaction workstreams (due diligence, structuring, documentation), coordinating juniors and driving timelines
- Act as a primary point of contact for management teams, advisors, and other stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle
- Contribute meaningfully to origination efforts, leveraging sector knowledge to identify and develop new opportunities, including across emerging markets
Candidate Profile
- 5-8 years' experience within investment banking, with a clear focus on infrastructure / energy
- Currently operating at VP level
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to independently run transactions and supervise junior team members
- Proven track record of executing deals across energy, renewables, or broader infrastructure sectors
- Experience or interest in emerging markets
- Commercially minded, client-facing, and confident in leading discussions and managing senior stakeholders
