Reed is working in partnership with a key client in Horsham who is seeking a detail-focused Part-Time Warehouse Operative to support their busy logistics department.
This is a hands-on, practical role responsible for assembling and preparing parts into kits ready for finished stock and customer orders.
The Role
This position plays a vital role in ensuring inventory is accurately prepared and available for dispatch. You will work both independently and as part of a team in a structured warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling products
- Picking and preparing parts using pick lists and work orders
- Sorting, bagging, boxing, and labelling components into completed kits
- Carrying out manual handling tasks such as folding instructions, constructing boxes, and cutting materials
- Weighing and counting parts to ensure accuracy
- Completing thorough quality checks to guarantee 100% accuracy before stock release
About You
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Comfortable using inventory systems and barcode scanners
- Able to read and follow pick lists
- A reliable, organised, and self-motivated team player
- Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 15kg
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
