Prospectus is delighted to be supporting a national financial support charity in the search for a Trusts and Foundations Officer.
This organisation is a national charity tackling financial insecurity and its structural causes. They support people facing financial hardship to access the resources and opportunities they need to thrive, while working to challenge stigma and change the systems that drive financial insecurity.
The Trusts and Foundations Officer willm be joining a collaborative team and supporting on securing income from existing and new relationships with trusts and foundations. This will including managing a portfolio of donors capable of giving under £10k, as well as working and supporting on grant applications of £10k-£50k levels. This is a really great development opportunity for someone with some fundraising experience and an interest in trusts and foundations fundraising. With the support and mentorship of the team and excellent manager, this role will work towards a team target and get to develop new relationships.
To be successful as the Trusts and Foundations Officer you will have experience and knowledge of fundraising, and ideally had some connection to trusts and foundations fundraising. This person will need to demonstrate good engagement skills through writing and relationship building, and be open to working both autonomously and as a team.
