This is an exciting opportunity to support the Community Learning.
Disability Team and the Team manager for a fixed term of one year to cover. maternity leave. You will have experience of learning disability services, staff supervision and team development. You will also hold a caseload of complex cases. The detailed job purpose is below:
Working with the team manager you will promote high standards of professional practice, provide leadership, and high level support to the Team Manager of the Community Learning Disability Team that provide a multi-disciplinary approach and response to adults with a learning disability.
Developing and engaging links with the third sector and individuals to further develop person centred and strength based approaches to identify personal outcomes and meet eligible need.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Adults & Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
A valid driving licence is requirement for this post.
