Prospero Teaching are actively working with a lovely specialist SEND independent school with a Nursery, Senior School and Sixth Form departments, in the Greenwich area who are on the lookout for an Assistant Headteacher to join their team, full time starting in September.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for an Assistant Headteacher for an Independent school in Greenwich.
The school is a popular Independent School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location – Greenwich, SE12
- Position – Assistant Headteacher
- Type of work – Assistant Headteacher
- Contract or position start date – September
- Full time/part time – Full time
- Minimum rate of pay – £50,000 Per annum
- Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm : Mon – Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS or equivalent
- Good honours degree
- Significant experience of working with pupils with SEND
- Minimum 1 year EYFS/KS1/KS2 teaching experience in the UK
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
