A welcoming Primary School in Haringey is seeking an ambitious Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team from September 2026.
This is far more than a traditional Higher Level Teaching Assistant role. Alongside leading targeted Maths interventions and supporting pupil progress, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for a Year 5 class during periods of teacher absence throughout the school day. All planning will be provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging learning experiences and building your confidence in front of a class.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
- Leading Maths intervention groups as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
- Delivering targeted support to raise attainment in KS2
- Occasionally leading a Year 5 class during teacher absence
- Working closely with teaching staff to identify learning gaps
- Supporting pupils both academically and emotionally
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
