Forward Role
Quant Researcher — Crypto HFT — Dubai – Visas and relocation paid for
Markets move in microseconds. Make sure you're the reason why.
We're hunting for a junior/mid quant researcher to join a crypto HFT desk in Dubai. If you can find alpha where everyone else sees noise and you'd rather prove it in C++ than argue it in a meeting, keep reading.
What you'll be doing
- Researching and building systematic alpha signals across crypto markets
- Backtesting in Python, productionising in C++ where it counts
- Working tick data, not daily candles — this is microstructure, not macro vibes
- Iterating fast, failing fast, deploying faster
What you bring
- Strong foundations in C++ and Python — you know which one to reach for and why
- Quant chops: stats, probability, time series — the maths actually has to hold up
- Genuine curiosity about market microstructure and crypto-specific quirks (fragmented liquidity, exchange latency, funding rates — the lot)
- A junior/mid level CV that shows hunger, not just a syllabus
What's in it for you
- Direct exposure to live HFT strategies from day one — no shadowing for six months
- Dubai base: tax-efficient, fast-growing crypto hub, no commute through the rain
- A desk that ships ideas instead of sitting on them in committee
If you've been quietly building signals on your own data and wondering where the real action is — this is it.
