We are partnering with a luxury fashion retail brand to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their finance team in the City of London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping activities within a fast-paced and growing business.
Key Duties:
• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities and maintaining accurate financial records • Processing purchase and sales invoices, supplier payments, and employee expenses • Maintaining Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ledgers • Performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies • Reconciling supplier statements and handling finance queries • Assisting with cash flow monitoring and month-end processes • Supporting VAT returns and audit requirements • Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance team
Core Experience & Skills: • Previous experience in a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, or similar finance role • Experience within retail, fashion, luxury goods, e-commerce, or a fast-paced commercial environment • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and transactional finance processes • Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations • Proficiency in Excel and finance systems such as Xero, Sage, NetSuite, or similar • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
