Randstad Student Support
At Randstad, we believe every child deserves a chance to learn, no matter how turbulent their journey has been. We are seeking compassionate, completely unfazed SEMH Tutors to guide children in crisis and local authority care back toward education. If you understand that "bad behaviour" is often just a cry for help, we want to hear from you.
How you will make a difference: By delivering bespoke 1:1 sessions, you will balance basic academic mentorship with vital emotional regulation. You will use trauma-informed approaches to safely de-escalate challenging moments, helping these young people rebuild their self-esteem and learn to trust adults again. You'll also work closely with local authorities to feedback on their milestones.
Who we are looking for:
-
An experienced educator or tutor well-versed in SEMH, EBD, and trauma-informed care.
-
Someone with a calm, resilient presence and strong behaviour management skills (Team Teach is a plus).
-
Professionals from alternative provision, youth justice, or residential care backgrounds who refuse to give up on a child after a difficult day.
Why partner with Randstad? We offer flexible caseloads to fit your lifestyle, full backing from a dedicated consultant, and the immense satisfaction of knowing you are making a direct, lasting impact.
