Site Manager
Location: Middlesbrough
Contract: Temporary – 6/8 weeks
Salary/Rate: £250 per day CIS
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Site Manager to work on school refurbishments during the summer holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee all site activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Health & Safety: Maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, conducting regular safety briefings and risk assessments.
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate site staff, subcontractors, and trade teams.
- Programme Delivery: Drive the project programme, effectively managing resources and resolving any on-site issues to meet deadlines.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure a high standard of finish.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, surveyors, and other key stakeholders.
What We're Looking ForEssential Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on relevant construction projects – school refurbishments.
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
- Valid First Aid at Work certificate.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and relevant building regulations.
