A specialist education setting is seeking an experienced Interim Deputy Headteacher to provide strategic and operational leadership support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Curriculum leadership and development
- Quality assurance and monitoring of teaching and learning
- Assessment, data and pupil progress tracking
- School improvement planning and implementation
- Staff deployment and operational leadership
- Safeguarding leadership support
- Supporting standards, outcomes and provision across the school
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven senior leadership experience within education
- Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and school improvement
- Experience of safeguarding and leading teams
- Ability to drive standards and support whole-school development
Experience within specialist, SEND or alternative provision settings would be advantageous.
