This is a great opportunity for a nearly or newly qualified Reserving Actuary to step into a role with real exposure across specialty lines, where you'll take ownership of key reserving analyses while partnering closely with underwriting, pricing, and finance. You'll be operating in an environment that values both technical rigour and commercial judgement, with a clear line of sight between your work and business decisions.
The role will involve end-to-end reserving, including deep-dives into drivers of reserve movements, supporting business planning, and contributing to portfolio insight across multiple classes. You'll also have the chance to get involved in broader initiatives, whether that's improving reserving processes, enhancing reporting, or collaborating with data and analytics teams to evolve how insight is generated and communicated.
They're looking for someone recently qualified (or very close) with prior London Market or specialty experience, strong technical fundamentals, and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders. It's an ideal move for someone looking to build on their reserving grounding in a role that offers visibility, ownership, and the opportunity to shape how reserving supports wider business strategy.
