We are currently recruiting for a large public sector organisation on a fixed term business. This role sits within the L&D department and is a FTC until March 2027.
You will support the planning and development of staff force needed in order to meet future projects and recruitment planning. The role will be looking into organisation strategies, frameworks, and prioritising.
Key Responsibilities
- Help identify the skills and capabilities needed to support business strategy
- Assist with workforce planning, including identifying gaps in skills and capability
- Analyse workforce data and produce reports to support decision-making
- Support the development of learning frameworks and training solutions across different teams
- Work with stakeholders to design solutions that address capability gaps
- Build strong working relationships and provide support to employees to help them develop
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives, ensuring value for money
- Support the delivery of programmes and manage multiple learning and development projects
- Lead on new capability initiatives and projects
- Identify talent and maintain talent tracking to ensure employees receive the development they need
- Manage the department budget.
We are looking for an L&D / HR professional with a minimum of CIPD LEVEL 5. We must have people with project and change management for this role, you will have experience of something similar.
Strong analytical skills, good over all IT skills and the ability to build good relationships and stakeholder management.
The role is Monday to Friday and hybrid working.
£35,384pa – pro rata.
