Daily Rate: £160 – £233 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Academics is a leading Teacher Supply and Recruitment Agency based in Stoke-on-Trent.
We are excited to be working with a successful and forward-thinking Stoke-on-Trent secondary school that is seeking a qualified and passionate Drama Teacher to join their vibrant Performing Arts department from September 2026.
The school, recently graded as "Good" by OFSTED, is known for its high standards, supportive environment, and state-of-the-art facilities. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic and creative educator to make a real impact.
About the Role:
- Full-time Drama Teacher position
- Teaching Drama to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4; teaching English to KS3
- Temporary role initially for 2 terms, with the potential to extend
- Become an integral part of the Performing Arts team
About You:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and confident Drama Teacher who:
- Holds QTS/QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has strong subject knowledge in Drama and Performing Arts
- Is committed to delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Can inspire and motivate students across KS3 & KS4
- Is a confident classroom practitioner with high expectations
- Holds a valid DBS certificate or is willing to apply for one
