Quantity Surveyor

This is a successful residential developer delivering quality housing developments across Nottinghamshire. With four active sites and a substantial land bank for future projects, the business is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the addition of a Quantity Surveyor.
In this role, you will oversee valuations, budgets, subcontractor procurement, payment processing, cost reporting, tendering, and regular site visits.
The ideal candidate will be commercially aware, organised, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities across several live projects. Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of construction processes are essential.

The Role:
- Manage valuations and cost reporting
- Prepare and monitor project budgets
- Place orders with subcontractors and process subcontractor payments
- Assist with tender preparation and analysis
- Conduct site visits across local developments
The Person:
- Quantity Surveying experience within construction (Housebuilding experience desirable)
- Experience managing valuations and budgets
- Experience procuring subcontractors and processing payments
- COINS experience preferred
- Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying
