Benefits and salary of a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester / Remedial engineer :-
- 40k basic salary
- Bonus scheme for additional fixed wire tests per day and remedial works – 8-9k on top

They are recruiting for a fixed wire electrical tester you will be:-
- Doing fixed wire electrical circuit testing in commercial properties
- Doing EICR remedial works
- Also doing some PAT testing and emergency lighting tests if you have the experience
- Covering around a lot across central belt Scotland with other work further north
- Potentially working away 5-10 days per month
- Working in offices, commercial buildings and supermarkets
Skills / experience needed as a Fixed Wire Electrical Tester :-
- Living anywhere in or around the central belt of Scotland but closet to Glasgow would be beneficial
- 18th edition needed as well as your electrical 2391 testing certificate or equivalent
- Having your AM2 certificate or NVQ Level 3 equivalent would be very beneficial
- Good experience doing fixed wire testing and EICR remedial works
- Great customer services skills for when you are on site
- Be able to pass a DBS check
