This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced assessor or HR professional to support learners completing CIPD and CMI qualifications.
At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Skills Assessor CIPD and CMI to join their expanding team based in London.
You will play a key role as a Skills Assessor CIPD and CMI, in assessing learner work, providing clear guidance and feedback, and ensuring learners are supported to achieve successful outcomes. You will work closely with delivery and quality teams to maintain high standards and improve learner engagement and achievement.
What you will be doing:
• Mark and assess learner assignments for CIPD and CMI programmes in line with awarding body standards and internal quality processes
• Provide clear, constructive and developmental written feedback to support learner progression
• Support learners with academic guidance and coaching throughout their programme
• Monitor learner progress and identify learners who require additional support
• Maintain accurate and timely records of learner progress and assessment outcomes
• Work closely with delivery, quality assurance and learner support teams to ensure consistency
• Participate in standardisation meetings and internal quality assurance activities
• Ensure assessment turnaround times and performance targets are met
• Maintain up to date knowledge of CIPD and CMI requirements and assessment criteria
• Promote a positive and supportive learner experience
• Support senior management with additional duties and project work when required
• Ensure safeguarding compliance and data protection procedures are followed at all times
What we are looking for:
• Strong knowledge of CIPD and or CMI qualifications
• Experience assessing CIPD qualifications
• Background in HR, learning and development, management or business functions
• Experience supporting learners in an education, apprenticeship or training environment
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to give clear feedback
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to motivate and support learners to achieve their goals
Essential qualifications:
• Level 5 HR or business related qualification
• Assessor qualification
• Occupational competence in HR, learning and development or business
• Experience working in an adult education or training environment
Desirable:
• Experience assessing CMI qualifications
• Level 7 HR or business related qualification
Salary and benefits:
• Salary £30,000 to £40,000 per annum
• Hybrid working arrangement
• 37.5 hours per week
