This is a hands-on Finance Manager role in a fast-growing SME operating across the UK, US and Vietnam, with full ownership of multi-entity, multi-currency finance operations. Description
- Oversee end-to-end finance operations including AP, AR, payroll and banking, with control over Vietnam-based cost centre, invoice approvals, payment authorisation, fraud prevention and FX exposure (GBP, USD, VND)
- Own order-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycles, ensuring accurate invoicing, collections, supplier validation, purchase orders and payment scheduling, acting as key control point across sales, production and finance
- Manage inventory, costing and margin performance, including stock valuation, freight and royalty analysis, pricing support and supplier negotiation insights
- Lead cashflow forecasting and working capital management, monitoring receipts, supplier payments and stock to optimise liquidity and cash position
- Partner with external accountants across UK, US and Vietnam to deliver management accounts, VAT, budgeting and forecasting, and provide commercial insight on profitability and performance
Profile
A successful Finance Manager / Financial Controller should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience in financial management within the retail or consumer-led industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a small-sized organisation.
