The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Alice Ingham Roman Catholic School via St Teresa of Calcutta, to recruit a Teaching Assistant to provide additonal support to small groups and individual students. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing and values-led school community that places children’s wellbeing and development at the heart of everything it does.
We are looking for a Teaching assistant for a full time long term role to start ASAP and to start the academic year with Dixon's Brooklands.
Both 1:1 support and general classroom assistance will be required.
The ideal candidate will:

Be kind, patient, and flexible, with a genuine passion for supporting children

Have experience working with children with additional needs (desirable)

Be confident working 1:1 and as part of a team

Demonstrate strong communication skills and emotional intelligence

Be reliable, proactive, and able to follow instructions while using initiative

Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school

This role is to start on supply and has the additional opportunity to move to a permanent role following interviews.
