Our client is seeking a talented Town Planner to join their growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of the UK's most exciting and high-profile development projects, advising a diverse client base that includes major developers, investors, landowners, and public sector organisations.
The Opportunity
You'll become part of a highly regarded planning team with a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused planning advice across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, mixed-use, logistics, life sciences, infrastructure, and regeneration projects.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the planning process, from strategic site promotion and planning applications through to appeals and stakeholder engagement, working alongside leading experts across planning, economics, heritage, and environmental disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and managing planning applications, appeals, and supporting documentation.
- Providing clear and commercially focused planning advice to clients.
- Undertaking planning appraisals and development feasibility assessments.
- Liaising with local authorities, consultees, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Supporting business development activities and helping to maintain strong client relationships.
- Contributing to project delivery across a variety of sectors and scales of development.
About You
- Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership.
- Experience gained within a planning consultancy, developer, local authority, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and planning policy.
- Excellent written, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, client-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
