Job Type – Resource Base Teaching Assistant Location – Oldbury Contract – Full-time (5 days a week)
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a school in Oldbury for experienced and passionate Qualified Teaching Assistants to work within their dedicated SEND provision. You will be working as part of a committed and supportive team, providing tailored support to pupils in a specialist SEND environment, helping them to engage, thrive and reach their full potential, with the needs mainly consisting of non-verbal and speech and language
The Role:
Support children with non-verbal and speech and language needs. Work with pupils of all Primary ages and abilities. Assist with lesson delivery, classroom management, and skill development. Encourage independence, engagement, and participation in learning activities. Collaborate closely with other staff members within the room.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly non-verbal and speech and language needs. Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills. Confident working with non-verbal pupils. Enthusiastic about helping children achieve their potential.
