Working with a varied client base across the education, technology and public sectors, you will advise on complex commercial contracts, IT, IP and strategic projects while developing your career within a highly ranked team.

Description

The Commercial Solicitor will be:

* Advising clients on complex commercial contracts and strategic projects

* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements

* Working with clients on IT, intellectual property and data protection matters

* Providing commercially focused legal advice to education sector clients and other organisations within the public and technology sectors

* Working closely with colleagues across multiple practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions

* Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser

* Identifying opportunities to add value and support client objectives

* Contributing to business development activities, networking initiatives and thought leadership projects

* mentoring junior lawyers where appropriate

  • * Keeping up to date with legal and regulatory developments affecting clients

Profile

The Commercial Solicitor should be:

* A solicitor with approximately 5 to 10 years' PQE in commercial law

* Experienced in advising on commercial contracts and commercial projects

* Knowledgeable in IT, intellectual property and data protection matters

* Comfortable managing client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice

* Able to work collaboratively within a large national firm environment

* Skilled at drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex agreements

* Commercially aware with strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • * Motivated to contribute to business development and wider team growth

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from £75,000 to £85,000 per annum.
  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • 5% pension contributions.
