A leading UK manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team at a high-volume production facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for either mechanically or electrically biased engineers, provided you are comfortable working on electrical systems and fault finding within a modern automated manufacturing environment.
The Role
Working on a Panama shift pattern covering days and nights, you will be responsible for:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive breakdown support
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Continuous improvement activities
- Supporting production to maximise equipment uptime
- Root cause analysis and reliability improvements
- Working on automated production and packaging equipment
Equipment & Machinery
You will be working on a wide range of manufacturing and packaging machinery, including:
- High-speed automated production lines
- Conveyors and material handling systems
- Pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
- PLC-controlled machinery
- Vision inspection systems
- Industrial drives and motors
- Automated assembly equipment
- Packaging and process machinery
Requirements
- Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering
- Multi-skilled maintenance background
- Comfortable with electrical fault finding
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, food, beverage, pharmaceutical or similar environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
