AD Finance
Alexander Daniels are working with a growing business who are recruiting for a Finance Manager. You will oversee all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and compliance with statutory requirements. Provide clear financial insight, forecasts, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and business performance. Maintain efficient processes, effective cash-flow management, and collaborate across departments to improve financial understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Support company goals and contribute to management decisions.
- Provide clear financial insights and performance updates to Directors
- Manage day-to-day finance activities including banking, reconciliations, payments, invoicing, and credit control.
- Oversee purchase and sales ledgers, payroll, pensions, and financial records.
- Ensure smooth running of accounting systems and processes.
- Prepare management accounts and ensure timely statutory submissions (VAT, CIS, payroll, etc.).
- Support audits and year-end reporting requirements.
- Assist with financial data for projects, tenders, and commercial activities.
- Provide guidance on financial matters to internal teams.
- Maintain strong internal controls and improve processes where possible.
- Support accounting systems, data accuracy, and reporting
- Assist with compliance, IT systems, asset tracking, and sustainability reporting.
- Support HR-related financial tasks and staff administration as needed.

Skills & Experience
- Strong financial, analytical, and organisational skills
- Experience in accounting, payroll, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of UK finance regulations (VAT, CIS, PAYE)
- High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communicator with a collaborative approach
