Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures
- Develop data platforms, data lakes/lakehouses, and ETL/ELT solutions
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Create data roadmaps aligned to business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams
Essential Experience
- Proven Data Architect experience, ideally within Financial Services or a regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modelling, and data management principles
- Hands-on SQL experience
- Experience designing modern data platforms and cloud-based solutions
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP and/or Snowflake
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable Skills
- Data strategy development
- Python or similar programming languages
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools
- Data governance and data quality tooling
- Agile delivery experience
- Leadership or mentoring experience
