Location: Bury (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + benefits

About the Role
As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering both strategic and operational HR support to clients. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll coach managers and business owners through a wide range of people-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR and employment law advice across:
- Disciplinary & grievance
- Performance management
- Sickness absence
- Restructures and redundancies
- Produce clear, step-by-step guidance alongside all required documentation
- Manage employee relations cases end-to-end, including investigations and formal processes
- Develop and review HR policies, procedures, and employee relations strategies
- Support clients with improving people practices and operational efficiency
- Coach and upskill managers to ensure best practice and minimise risk
- Build strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders (e.g. ACAS, unions)
- Stay up to date with evolving employment legislation
About You
You will be a confident and proactive HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key requirements:
- CIPD Level 5 (minimum)
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role with exposure to complex ER cases
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
