We’re seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join an established organisation on a temporary basis, based In the Birmingham City area.
Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant Role include:
- Supporting period-end close activities, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Completing key balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting statutory reporting and audit processes
- Ensuring compliance with relevant VAT regulations
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation
To be considered for the Financial Accountant Role you should have:
- Relevant professional qualification (can be either full or part-qualified)
- Strong financial accounting experience within a complex environment
- Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems
- Strong attention to detail and stakeholder engagement skills
