Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Kettering area. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented educator to make a real impact on students' learning and achievement in English Language and Literature.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we would love to hear from candidates who are committed to delivering engaging lessons and helping students reach their full potential.
The Role:
- Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider life of the English department and school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student success.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
