The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, guiding pupils through this important stage of Key Stage 1 and helping them prepare successfully for the transition into KS2.
The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the Year 2 curriculum
- Support pupils in developing strong foundations in reading, writing and mathematics
- Use assessment effectively to identify next steps and accelerate progress
- Create a nurturing and purposeful classroom environment
- Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and maintain high standards
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:
- Holds QTS and recent UK primary teaching experience
- Has a secure understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management
- Is reflective, organised and committed to continuous improvement
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
