Debbie Burbage Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with an established Northampton based organisation to recruit an experienced and highly capable Personal Assistant.
This is a pivotal role providing comprehensive support to the CEO, CFO and wider Executive Team, ensuring they can operate efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will also have responsibility for managing two direct reports and will join a respected business with a proud history, strong values and an exciting future.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive executive support to the CEO, CFO and wider Executive Team, ensuring their time and priorities are managed effectively.
- Coordinate complex diaries, meetings, travel arrangements and logistics across multiple stakeholders.
- Prepare high quality correspondence, presentations, reports and Board level documentation.
- Organise Executive and Board meetings, including agenda preparation, pre-read materials and associated arrangements.
- Act as a gatekeeper for the CEO's inbox, prioritising communications and responding on their behalf where appropriate.
- Partner with the Company Secretary to facilitate all PLC Board related activities, including meeting preparation, Board packs, travel arrangements and diary coordination.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of investor relations activities involving the CEO and CFO.
- Oversee the smooth day to day operation of the Head Office environment, including facilities, supplies and health and safety compliance.
- Provide support to the reception function during periods of absence or increased business need.
- Work collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders on workplace improvements and office planning initiatives.
- Take ownership of, or contribute to, a range of executive and business projects.
- Coordinate high profile events, including Board meetings, leadership offsites and corporate conferences.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders interacting with the Executive Committee.
- Ensure the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail are maintained at all times.
- Process and monitor executive expenses, purchase orders and related administrative activities.
Candidate
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and professional individual with experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment. An excellent communicator, you will be confident building relationships at all levels and handling sensitive information with discretion and integrity. With strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities, you will be comfortable working independently, using your initiative and anticipating the needs of the Executive team. Previous people management experience is desirable, along with advanced Microsoft Office skills and a flexible, adaptable approach to work.
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Hours: 9am -5pm (30 mins lunch) Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) – Office Based
Holidays: 27 days holiday plus statutory days.
