HGV Class 2 Day Driver – Haydock
£16.20 per hour | Overtime £24.30 per hour | Weekend Rate £19.44 per hour
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Day Drivers for a well-established operation based in Haydock.
This role involves multi-drop cage deliveries, offering regular day shifts and excellent earning potential through overtime and weekend work.
The Role
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving
- Delivering goods using cages
- Multi-drop deliveries to customer locations
- Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
- Maintaining compliance with all driving regulations and company procedures
Pay Rates
- £16.20 per hour (first 9 hours worked per shift)
- £24.30 per hour (all hours worked after 9 hours per shift)
- £19.44 per hour for weekend shifts
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
- Previous cage work or multi-drop experience preferred
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude
